Start - Maggie's Edinburgh @ Sunrise
Distance - 170km
Setting off just outside Edinburgh Castle in Princes Park we start the biggest relay race in the UK.
Towns pass through: Galashiels (11am)
Run Detail - This is the toughest section of the route with a lot of elevation as we head south west out of Scotland. If you join the race on this day you can join in Edinburgh or Galashiels and leave the race in Galashiels if running in the morning or Carlisle in the evening.

Run Detail - We head into the night seeing both sunset and sunrise around the beautiful lake district.

Towns pass through: Preston, Wigan, Warrington, Frodsham, Tarporley
Run Detail - Plenty of running in beautiful countryside on this day through Cheshire and into Shropshire. You can join the race in the morning in the many towns we pass through and leave where best suits.
End - Shrewsbury

Towns pass through: Ludlow, Leominster
Run Detail - Many country lanes and countryside to tackle through the night as we head back west to Cardiff. Join the race in Shrewsbury and leave in Hereford if you want to run this section.

Run Detail - We head into Wales passing through Ted Senior's home - Monmouth. We head into Cardiff before turning back on ourselves to start the journey to London.
